Bloomer Video and Audio
Although there is no sound footage of Steve Bloomer speaking it can clearly be seen at around the 16th and 28th second of this footage that Bloomer says "bye" in what clearly appears to be a Derby accent and not a Black Country accent.
Steve Bloomer is not seen on this 1924 film but if you listen carefully you will hear 'Mister Bloomer' mentioned 55 seconds in.

DCFC Club Ambassadors and ex-players Roger Davies and Michael Johnson are interviewed by Colin Gibson and joined by Alan Grimadell (Derby Civic Society Chairman) and Councillor John Whitby (Mayor of Derby). Councillor Martin Rawson (City Council Deputy Leader), said: “As a lifelong Derby County fan and season ticket holder, I’m proud to be here today to commemorate the life of a true Derby legend. Steve Bloomer has inspired generations of football fans in Derby and beyond. Along with the bust in Pride Park Stadium and a memorial plinth in Lock-Up Yard, this blue plaque is a fitting way to remember someone who gave so much to the city and to football.”
